Tizor, a database auditing and protection firm, has tapped Joel Rosen as the new president and CEO, while Prat Moghe, founder of Tizor, will take over as CTO. Rosen previously served as president and CEO of NaviSite, a managed services infrastructure provider. He also worked at Aspen Technology and served as a partner with Charles River Ventures, focusing on the software sector.

Everett C. Johnson has been re-elected international president of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), a 50,000-member global, nonprofit that offers guidance on information security and administers the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) accreditation. Johnson most recently served as a partner at Deloitte & Touche.

Digital identification vendor Viisage has agreed to acquire Iridian Technologies, maker of iris recognition solutions, for $35 million. The acquisition will complement the company's smart card product line. Viisage, planning a third-quarter merge with Identix, also has announced former FBI Director Louis Freeh has joined the Board of Directors.

The eHealth Vulnerability Reporting Program (eHVRP) has appointed chairpersons for four working groups covering vulnerability assessment, vulnerability reporting, communications and legal. The groups' goal is to help establish the program, designed to improve privacy and security of eHealth systems.

Trend Micro, a leading anti-virus provider, and Westcon Group, a multi-national reseller of network technology, have announced a distribution agreement in which Westcon Group's Comstor and Westcon divisions will offer the Trend Micro line for customers in the United States.
